One of our prominent clients in the manufacturing seeks to appoint an Internal Audit and Control Manager. The primary purpose of the role is to manage and lead the delivery of the Internal Audit and Control activities for their organisation.

You will lead the Internal Audit function, providing assurance, to Executive Management and Group Internal Control Function.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, implement and maintain the region’s risk and control framework.
Monitor control performance and effectiveness in the region.
Develop and implement the region’s internal audit strategy and annual or rolling audit plan.
Plan, execute, supervise, and report on the region’s internal audit plan in line with the risks and strategic objectives of the organization.
Evaluate the effectives of internal controls, processes, and risk management frameworks.
Work with Finance and Operational Management to maintain and improve the financial control environment.
Prepare and present reports on internal audit and control findings to Executive Management and the Group Internal Control Function.
Monitor compliance with Group policies and local operating procedures.
Manage the fraud, ethics and compliance hotline and investigate cases, while developing resolution and safeguards for violations identified.
Create policy awareness and be responsible for socializing certain Group policies, i.e., Fraud, Delegation of Authority, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Degree in graphic design
10 years relevant business experience of which at least five should have been acquired within an audit/financial/accounting/compliance role, and ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Advanced level MS Excel, PowerPoint and experience with ERP systems, preferably SOX knowledge, SAP and SAP GRC, Diligent.
Knowledge of all relevant legislation that impacts the business (financial, environmental, conditions of service, corporate governance, company laws, etc).
