We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior IT Desktop Technician to join our dynamic team in Polokwane.

This role involves providing onsite technical support to clients, troubleshooting desktop and networking issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations. If you’re a proactive problem-solver with a passion for delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite technical support to clients, resolving desktop hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, peripherals, and network equipment.
• Offer timely and effective solutions to minimize client downtime.
• Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
• Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain strong professional relationships.
Required Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems and common software applications.
• Proficiency in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting (PCs, laptops, printers, etc.).
• Familiarity with Active Directory, remote desktop tools, and basic server support.
• Ability to set up and configure routers, switches, and wireless networks.
• A+ or Network+ certification (or equivalent experience) is highly advantageous.
