We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a dynamic team in Melrose, Johannesburg. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects for major corporate clients. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion. You'll be responsible for delivering projects on time, within scope, and to the highest standards, while managing multiple departments and clients.
3+ Years’ experience in IT project management, with expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Mandatory Agile and Waterfall certifications. Experience managing large-scale corporate IT projects with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively/ Strong understanding of project management tools and software. Excellent communication and leadership skills

Rate: Up to R50 pm ctc (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver IT projects across various departments and clients
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
Facilitate both Agile sprints and Waterfall phases, ensuring project milestones are met
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support
Identify and manage project risks, resolving issues promptly
Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management
Ensure adherence to both Agile and Waterfall methodologies throughout project lifecycles
Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service

Requirements:
Proven experience in IT project management, with expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Mandatory Agile and Waterfall certifications
Experience managing large-scale corporate IT projects
Strong understanding of project management tools and software
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex challenges
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in project management
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
