We are seeking a JIRA/Confluence Administrator to support and enhance our JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket environments. This role involves gathering business requirements, optimizing workflows, and providing technical support for JIRA and Confluence users. The ideal candidate will have expertise in JIRA APIs, webhooks, and plug-in management while ensuring seamless integration and efficiency across business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business requirements to optimize JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket configurations.
Provide application support for JIRA and Confluence to IT teams and business users.
Work with JIRA APIs and webhooks to integrate and automate processes.
Support JIRA and Confluence users by troubleshooting issues and offering best-practice guidance.
Evaluate, test, install, and configure JIRA and Confluence plug-ins while managing licensing needs.
Design and configure JIRA workflows and related screen schemes for complex projects.
Implement custom XML-based JIRA gadgets to enhance functionality.
Support and configure JIRA plug-ins as required.
Generate and maintain documentation on workflows and processes to support runbooks.
Create and manage JIRA projects, queries, and reports as per business needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in JIRA and Confluence administration, including workflow design and optimization.
Strong understanding of JIRA APIs and webhooks.
Experience in JIRA plug-in management, including evaluation, installation, and configuration.
Ability to troubleshoot, support, and train users on JIRA and Confluence.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret business requirements.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with BitBucket integration and administration.
Familiarity with XML-based JIRA gadgets and custom configurations.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience working in IT support environments with cross-functional teams.
