A Construction company based in Pretoria and operating throughout South Africa is looking for suitably qualified Jnr Concrete Foreman must have a sound knowledge of Civil Concrete Structures. You must be able to travel and have stable track record.

JNR FOREMAN – CIVIL CONCRETE STRUCTURES

Description:

• Assumes responsibility for the Management and integration of allocated construction activities on site pertaining to reinforced concrete structures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• To construct and deliver the allocated section of work within a specified timeframe with allocated resources.
• Read, understand and explain drawing specifications to teams.
• Read bending schedules & look after Steel fixing teams
• Work with various forms of Formwork
• Pour and finish concrete
• Ensure safety compliances to and Implement Company and client SHEQ policies and practices.
• Ensure compliance with cost and time requirements of the work program
• Monitor construction activity on site to prescribed quality standards.
• Monitor production and make daily progress reports for submission to Line Management.
• Sound technical knowledge associated with site construction requirements
• Monitor, control and improve production and productivity levels on site.
• Understanding of labour relations
• Operate a Dumpy level and Theodolite

Skills, Experience & Education:

• Relevant Construction SAQA Qualification/Trade with 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering/ Concrete Structures environment and have Functioned in the similar capacity of a Civils construction Company.
• Must have a drivers licence.
