This project management company is looking for a Jnr Project Manager to join their company, specializing in both Industrial and commercial projects across South Africa. In this case a Bush Lodge in Limpopo. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing a construction project particularly a Bush Lodge, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and adhere to local regulations and industry standards. Must be prepared to travel and be fluent in Afrikaans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, health & safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to meet project goals.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management and clients.
• Manage subcontractors, providing leadership and resolving conflicts or challenges that arise during the construction process.
• Identify and mitigate risks to project timelines and budgets, implementing corrective measures when necessary.
• Ensure financial management of projects by monitoring costs and expenditures to maintain budgetary alignment.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• ND/BTech/BSc Construction Management or similar qualification.
• minimum 3 - 5 years of Construction/project management experience within the South African Building construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of South African construction regulations,
• good communication skills and capable of managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with clients.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar) and cost control systems.
• Ability to manage sites, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites
• Must speak, read & write Afrikaans
Preferred Qualifications/Registration:
• PMP or equivalent project management certification advantageous.
