Jnr Quantity Surveyor – Civils/Concrete Structures (Gauteng)

This large Construction Company working throughout South Africa, is looking for suitably qualified Jnr Quantity Surveyors – Civils/Concrete Structures to be based in Gauteng and be prepared to work around the country.
Experienced Jnr Quantity Surveyor with minimum 5 years post qualification experience on major Civil/Concrete Structures construction sites;
Assist with the Quantity Surveyors and Snr Quantity Surveyors to manage all QS functions of large Civil projects in excess of R 100 Million.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• BSc / BTech/ND Quantity Surveying
• High degree of computer literacy. (CCS and MS Office)
• Min 5 years hands on QS experience with a large CIDB 9 Civil Structures contractor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Excellent skills in negotiations; claims, tenders, cost analysis, cost controls, schedules, allowables, variations, certificates and final accounts.
• Ability to work accurately be Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Problem solving abilities
• Good interpersonal skills
