RETAIL JUNIOR BUYER – (RETAIL / FRUIT & VEG INDUSTRY)

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric
• Diploma/Degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain or Logistics
• Alternate Tertiary Qualification relevant to the Fruit & Vegetable Industry
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ relevant experience within a similar role as a Junior Buyer in Retail / Fruit & Veg
• Relevant experience within the Fruit & Vegetable industry (ADVANTAGEOUS) i.e., Buying, Product Availability, Orders, Invoicing, Prices, Specials, Stock Counts, Price Comparisons & Suppliers
• Must have contactable references & solid work history
• Must possess strong numeracy, literacy and organisational skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills on all levels
• Proficient on all MS Office packages
• Proficient on SAP (Advantageous)
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Exceptional negotiating abilities
• Must have a Driver’s Licence (ESSENTIAL)
• Must have own reliable vehicle / Transport
