This person will have either a CA or CIMA qualification and lead a team of approximately 4 people
Duties will include
1. General Ledger
Responsible for maintaining and producing accurate, complete and timeous reconciliations of all General Ledger accounts for the Group (VAT Statutory Returns, WIP, Credit cards, Fixed Assets).
2. Cash Books & Bank Recons (USEW + STV)
Responsible for maintaining and producing accurate cash books
3. Group Treasury Function
Responsible for pooling & netting of funds, ensuring free movement of funds, fraud detection, & administration of Investment Accounts
4. Reports
Responsible for producing Management Accounts timeously, accurately and completely
5. Co-ordination & Administration
Responsible for effectively and efficiently co-ordinating all relevant financial activities in order to produce a timeous, accurate and complete Trial Balance, i.e. Troubleshooting imbalances & module cleaning adjustments (FA, WIP, A/P, A/R, IN, POs).
6. Procedures
Responsible for upholding Accounting Procedures, including procedure updates, training personnel on Syspro, problem solving & undertaking Syspro projects.
