RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for upholding successful company operations by implementing business strategies and fostering business relationships by providing strategic capacity, operational oversight, line management authority, fulfilling all fiduciary responsibility management of the company.
Responsible for cultivating strong relationships with clients and implementing strategies to improve the organisation’s operational delivery.
Responsible for regularly communicating with company executives and board members, reviewing financial statements and operational data, and hiring department heads to help guide the company’s employees in various areas.
Responsible for the overall financial health of the organization, including budgeting, financial planning, and ensuring the company’s profitability and sustainability.
Setting the direction of the organization and ensuring that all activities align with the overall strategy
Builds and maintains positive relationships with various stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, investors, and the community to establish the Group as a South African market leader.
Keeps a strong customer-centric approach, understanding customer needs, and ensuring that products or services meet or exceed customer expectations.
Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the company’s operations or reputation. This includes developing risk management strategies and contingency plans.
Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, as well as maintaining high ethical and corporate governance standards. This includes accountability to shareholders and the board of directors.
Present reports on the company’s business and performance to the board.
Create a culture of ownership and accountability throughout the organisation in support of our values.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in business management or related area – Essential
MBA/ Executive Development Program
Financial qualification B.com Acc, CA(SA)
A professional organization membership
Certification and/or training in areas like corporate governance, strategic planning, statistical analysis may be advantageous
ESSENTIAL
At least 10 to 15 years’ experience in Managing Director or Executive or in another senior managerial role
Experience in establishing business goals and strategies
Extensive experience in business administration
Strong understanding of Corporate Finance
