Key Responsibilities:
Network Architecture and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine the company’s network architecture strategy.
Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions that align with business objectives and future growth.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to ensure the company’s network remains cutting-edge and adaptable.
Create detailed network diagrams, documentation, and plans for architecture enhancements and improvements.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to a team of network engineers, guiding them in the implementation and troubleshooting of network solutions.
Mentor junior engineers, fostering skill development and promoting a collaborative learning environment.
Lead discussions and decision-making processes related to network design, architecture, and technology selection.
Plan and execute the deployment of network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other networking devices.
Configure and optimize network components to ensure high performance, availability, and security.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary adjustments or upgrades to maintain optimal operations.
Collaborate with the security team to ensure network designs meet security and compliance requirements. Implement and enforce best practices for network security, including firewall rules, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
Evaluate network capacity and plan for future growth, anticipating resource requirements and recommending upgrades as needed.
Implement strategies to ensure network scalability, considering factors like traffic patterns and application demands.

Qualifications and Experience:
Extensive experience in designing complex, scalable, and resilient network architectures. Proficiency in creating network diagrams, documentation, and architectural plans.
Diploma/Degree or Certification related to the IT field
Strong understanding of network topologies, segmentation, and traffic optimization. Network Protocols and Technologies: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
Familiarity with IPv6 and the ability to transition from IPv4 to IPv6. Expertise in VPN technologies including IPsec, SSL/TLS, and GRE.
Routing and Switching advanced skills in configuring and managing routers and switches from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
Ability to optimize routing tables, implement QoS policies, and ensure efficient traffic routing. Network Security: Proficiency in network security principles and best practices. Configuring firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and access control lists.
Knowledge of network segmentation and micro segmentation techniques for enhanced security.
