One of our esteemed clients in the Western Cape is looking for the services of a Oracle PL SQL Developer on a permanent basis. Our client works Hybrid hours 3 days in the office, and 2 days remote.
To qualify for this position you will need:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 6 to 8 years + experience in Oracle PL/SQL or SQL.
· Advanced technical knowledge in all areas of the application programming, and system design.
· Strong customer liaison skills.
· Proficiency in application design and the ability to lead junior team members.
· You must have an analytical mind-set with a logical approach to problem-solving.
· You must have a strong mathematical and numerical aptitude.
· You will need have the experience and ability to play an influential technical role in the team.
· Deliver a high quality of work.
· Positive, proactive attitude with self-management and self-motivation skills.
· Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow instructions, adhere to standards, and work effectively as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide Technical Guidance and Support: Offer expertise and support to the product team
· Assisting with technical challenges and application issues.
· Develop and Maintain PL/SQL or SQL Applications:
o Design, develop, and maintain robust PL/SQL or SQL scripts and applications.
· Ensure End-to-End SDLC Delivery: Oversee and manage all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure successful project completion.
· Support Business Users and Teams
o Assist with day-to-day queries from business users and PIT teams, providing first-line support and standby services when needed
· Prepare Technical Specifications and Programs
