KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Collaborate with project managers, business development teams, and customers to gather insights on product challenges, opportunities, and needs.
Translate gathered data into clear specifications for the development of both new and existing products.
Develop and execute product strategies to enhance modularity and maximize the reusability of components.
Utilize roadmap visualization tools to create a detailed product type strategy.
Oversee the implementation of product strategies, including:
Product and technology specification development.
Compliance assessments to meet technical specifications.
Management of product baselines and planning for obsolescence.
Creation of specifications for product industrialization, including tools, jigs, and measurement equipment.
Development of product acceptance test specifications.
Lead technical failure investigations and conduct root cause analyses.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or Electronic Engineering.
Postgraduate qualification in Systems Engineering is a strong advantage.
10+ years of engineering experience.
5+ years in product development.
Proven track record in managing product line architectures.
Solid experience in translating requirements into detailed development specifications.
Expertise in systems thinking and systems engineering principles.
Strong capability in developing and analyzing product specifications and requirements.
Experience in compliance management and product strategy development.
Proficient in road mapping methodologies, techniques, and tools.
Knowledge of fuze products and their operational environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
