Paracon is actively building up a talent database of skilled Project Managers to support our clients’ continuous need for growth. We are ideally looking for Product Owner with Financial Services / Investment / Asset Management industry experience.

We ‘almost always’ have Project Manager opportunities available in Johannesburg and Cape Town for permanent or contract positions.

A Project Manager key responsibility will be managing the production of the required deliverables. planning and monitoring the project. Adopting any delegation and use of project assurance roles within agreed reporting structures. preparing and maintaining project, stage and exception plans as required.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement projects
Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
Define tasks and required resources
Collect and manage project team
Manage the project budget
Allocate project resources
Create a project schedule and timeline
Support and direct team
Lead quality assurance
Report on the project status
Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project deliverables
Evaluate and assess the result of the project

Minimum Requirements:
Matric.
Bachelor’s degree
Project management qualification (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent experience as a project manager
2 – 3 years’ experience – To be considered as a Junior Project Manager.
3 – 5 years’ experience – To be considered as an Intermediate Project Manager
5+ years’ experience – To be considered as a Senior Project Manager.
Banking / Financial / Investment / Asset Management industry experience (Preferred).

Location & Job Type:
Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Most of our roles are Hybrid but we do get Remote ones now and again.
