Key Responsibilities and Experience

Experience Details
1.Min 1-2 yrs Basic knowledge of financial instruments, and relevant experience within the CIS (Collective investment schemes) industry. Relevant reconciliations knowledge and experience, with a understanding of systems, processes and procedures to perform reconciliations.
2.Min 1-2 yrs Knowledge and practical experience with relevant MS Office programmes and systems (Fund accounting and reconciliation systems).
3.Min 1-2 yrs Previous experience in building relationships and engaging with clients to gather required information, documentation and resolve queries.

Reconciliation Processes:
Compare and reconcile financial transactions across various systems (e.g., bank statements vs. internal records).
Identify discrepancies and investigate the root causes.

Error Resolution:
Work with relevant teams to correct discrepancies or errors in financial data.
Ensure that outstanding items are cleared promptly.

Reporting:
Prepare reconciliation reports and provide insights to management.
Assist in month-end and year-end financial processes.

Compliance:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and reviews.

System Updates:
Work with accounting and financial systems to implement updates or changes that improve reconciliation processes.

Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., finance, operations, and IT) to ensure smooth workflows.

Qualifications:
Diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Experience in reconciliations, accounting, or financial analysis.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Clear ITC Record: No adverse listings on credit checks.
Criminal Record Clearance: No prior criminal convictions or pending cases.

Other Requirements:
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial best practices.
High attention to detail and accuracy.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software and reconciliation tools.
Strong MS Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis).
