HOTEL RESTAURANT ASSISTANT MANGER

This position requires the below experience within the Hotel Restaurant Silver Service Industry

Required skills and knowledge from within the Restaurant Hotel Sector -
• A Minimum of 5 years Formal experience within a Hotel Group as a Restaurant Manager
• Previous Staff management experience for no less than 10 Personnel – Vital
• Hotel Silver service Restaurant Related experience
• Working experience with financial duties
• Knowledge of Cuisine would be an advantage
• Trade outlets & Restaurant Management
• Person ideally single and should be passionate about living in the Bushveld
• Grade 12 plus Relevant Certificate / Diploma required

Main duties include -
• Provide high level of customer service and efficiency for restaurant activities
• Ensure efficient, smooth running and overall Management of a Hotel restaurant
• Ensure optimal levels of stock and financial planning
• Daily Management of restaurant staff.
• Manage restaurant income and expenses according to budget and profits.
• Month-end procedures, GP’s, Budgets and stock take
• Plan restaurant stock level, pricing & ordering of stock
• Liaise with clients/ departments and suppliers.
• Marketing and Check deliveries
• Maintain hygienic standards
• Implementation of the Company’s Financial and HR Policies and Procedures.
• Implementation of the Company’s Health and Safety regulations
• Evaluation of department performance, Finance & Staff performance.
• Planning of staff rosters and leave.
• Displaying of products and Restaurant layout.
• Liaise with various departments.
• Conduct training needs analysis and in-house training of staff.
• Receiving of GRV’s and processing
• Upload and download of sales information.
• Sales and stock reports, stock control
• Month end Finance procedure
• Daily Cash up’s of the Restaurant.
