The role of a SAIPA Clerk is varied and challenging. You need to be highly analytical, detail oriented and able to cope well with stress.
Suitably qualified candidates in Cape Town wanting to pursue a 3-year SAIPA clerkship in their endeavour to become a Professional Accountant (SA) is invited to submit their details.

In order to be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:
• BCom in Accounting (Proof to accompany application)
• Able to converse in Eng and Afr (non-negotiable)
• Valid driver’s license and own transport (essential)

You will be required to perform the following duties:
• Assist with financial reporting and work closely with senior accountants / auditors to prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements and other financial reports
• Conduct / assist with audits to ensure that financial statements are in line with IFRS for SME
• Bookkeeping, data capturing and process financial transactions in the accounting system
• Assist with tax compliance and complete tax returns
• Research and provide insight into financial and accounting matters
• Respond to client queries
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
• Ad-hoc duties as may be required from time to time
