Job Description

This position is B2B Sales and Hiring out of Construction and Mining Machinery to customers in South African and across SADEC regions

Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify and target potential customers through prospecting efforts.
Utilize various channels, including physical business meetings, cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling, to generate high-quality leads.

Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of our sectorial products and how they address the unique needs of our target market.
Clearly communicate the value proposition to prospects and articulate how our solutions can solve their machinery and equipment challenges

Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and pain points to position our solutions as the ideal fit for their business requirements.

Sales Presentations:
Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to prospects, effectively showcasing the features and benefits of our plant and machinery offerings
Tailor presentations to address specific customer pain points and objectives.

Sales Pipeline Management
Manage and nurture a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads through the sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
Utilize tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities

Collaboration
Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and address customer needs effectively.
Provide valuable input to product development based on customer feedback and market trends.

Sales Quotas:
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by converting qualified leads into paying customers.
Continuously strive to improve sales performance through ongoing training and skill development.

Requirements:
Formal Qualification is Sales/Marketing or Business Management
3+ years of Proven track record of success in outbound sales, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of the construction and mining machinery industry, technology trends, and competitive landscape.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-lasting customer relationships.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a high level of initiative and a passion for sales.
A valid drivers licence
No criminal record.

This position will require candidate to travel across South Africa for sales and after-sales meetings.
