Our client who is a leading private hospital group specializing in acute care and offering a wide range of specialist-oriented, multidisciplinary hospital services is looking for an Integration Specialist join their team. The Integration Specialist will contribute to the design, architecture, implementation, and support of integration solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality across the company’s systems.
Key Responsibilities
Define conformance standards for integration messaging protocols, such as HL7 and FHIR, for the company and its subsidiaries.
Support the development and implementation of integration standards, processes, and architecture recommendations across the company and its subsidiaries.
Ensure optimal and flexible integration design by conducting thorough business, system, and technical analysis.
Collaborate in requirement analysis, decomposition, design, internal testing, and documentation of both existing and new integrations.
Work closely with system architects and integration programmers, fostering strong relationships within the ICT environment.
Maintain a detailed register of web services, APIs, and integration points for all parties involved.
Provide operational management and support for integration solutions.
Non-Negotiables
Proficiency in coding and programming fundamentals.
Competence in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
Proficiency in integration protocols such as RESTful APIs, web services, and queuing systems.
Solid understanding of integration and messaging architecture.
Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR standards.
Minimum Requirements
3-5 years’ experience as Integration Specialist/ Analyst.
Experience in API management is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of data structures and data transfer mechanisms.
Expertise in creating, editing, and interpreting schema definitions (XML, JSON).
Knowledge of InterSystems IRIS for Health is advantageous.
Ability to design and understand the functional requirements of services and APIs, including input/output field specifications.
