Our client in the Banking Industry is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to Join their team. The successful candidate will deliver expert technical support and guidance in installing, testing, tuning, optimizing, diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and maintaining hardware and system software, including both external and internal components. This includes operating systems, data management tools, office automation software, embedded systems, utility software, and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Foster a supportive work culture by engaging in company culture-building initiatives, such as staff surveys.
Support corporate social responsibility activities to align with key business goals.
Suggest improvements to processes, systems, and policies and aid in their implementation.
Gather and analyze ICT performance data to recommend system hardware and software enhancements.
Minimize risks by following procedures and applying standard solutions during hardware or software failures.
Investigate and resolve service issues or escalate when necessary.
Stay informed on emerging hardware and software solutions to support technology choices.
Perform technical tasks to support business processes, including computer diagnosis, repair, and maintenance.
Prepare and maintain documentation for system software to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
Independently resolve standard incidents to maintain smooth operations.
Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures to ensure business continuity.
Follow organizational processes for efficient task completion and vendor coordination.
Contribute to client satisfaction by participating in client progress reports and design approvals.
Keep updated on industry regulations and company’s vision, applying this knowledge in interactions.
Enhance personal skills and career development by completing training and certifications, sharing insights with the team, and maintaining system efficiency against service level agreements (SLAs).

Minimum Requirements
Experience in Red hat Linux administration:
Between 3-5 years’ experience working on Linux.
