RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent of this position will be responsible for growing and developing the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance. The individual will sell personal lines and Commercial lines by prospecting and canvassing for new business sales.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate
Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
Must have own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access to the vehicle
Valid code B driver’s license
3 years of commercial business sales experience in a face-to-face selling environment
Previous experience at a brokerage or short-term insurance (B2B)
Experience in lead generating, cold calling and relationship management
Communication (verbal and written) in English
Confident and enthusiastic self-starter who can take initiative
Self-starter and entrepreneur mindset
Strong Business Acumen
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Balances team and individual responsibility and provides and accepts feedback
Analytical, Numerical & mathematical skills
