RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage SETA legislative reporting requirements
Ensure compliance with all SETA and legislative reporting requirements, including meeting deadlines and content standards.
Track and maximize recoverable grants in alignment with the service level agreements established with the relevant SETAs
Prepare and submit precise Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs) and Annual Training Reports (ATRs) to both INSETA and BANKSETA
Stakeholder liaison
Oversee all SETA-driven initiatives endorsed by the business, such as learnerships, workplace skills development, and pivotal programs
Offer expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on learning and development legislation, policies, practices, and procedures
Promptly communicate SETA initiatives, grants, and benefits to the employer, assess available funding opportunities, and provide recommendations on programs that can be implemented
Monitoring and evaluation
Utilize effective methods to assess the success and impact of interventions.
Gather and analyze feedback on learning and development initiatives, incorporating lessons learned into future programs.
Align learning and development programs with relevant SAQA/SETA unit standards.
Establish quality control measures to ensure consistent and high-quality execution of staff development initiatives.
Administration
Organize and schedule learning and development initiatives, managing the logistics for programs such as learnerships, technical training, and soft skills development.
Process payment requests, create requisitions, and manage expenses in accordance with Authority Mandates.
Prepare monthly status reports detailing completed and upcoming learning interventions.
Maintain and regularly update all processes and procedures relevant to the role.
Promptly upload all documentation related to learning interventions to the shared Learning and Development folder, following established processes, and follow up on any missing documents from the L&D team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Matric
Undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management/Organisational Development, Education and Training (OD-ETDP)
Skills Development Facilitator Accreditation
5 Years Skills Development Facilitator / Financial Services Experience
Computer literacy on Microsoft Office applications and online learning management and design tools
