Social Media Strategist (On-site)

We are looking to recruit a vibrant Social Media Strategist to join our fast-paced, mid-sized Contact Centre based in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape.

Qualifications and competencies required:
Grade 12, or equivalent qualification and experience.
Media / Communications / Marketing degree/diploma, or equivalent qualification advantageous.
Must be able to speak, read and write English
Basic Canva skills.
Minimum of 12 months experience in a client liaison environment.
A minimum of 12 months experience in an advertising or marketing agency and / or motor manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
A valid drivers license (advantageous).

Key skills required:
Social content creation for a corporate brand.
Social ad management.
Understanding of corporate identity.
Customer service orientated.
Securing new revenue streams in the Digital Media space.
Experience in social media reporting.
Excellent communication skills, including understanding and interpreting briefs.
Attention to detail.
Ability to think logically and analytically.
Reliable, self-disciplined and able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to multitask across different projects and tasks.
Advanced computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 per month
Contract: 6 Months, possibility of an extension
