We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Java 17 Software Developer with extensive experience in Volante to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge payment systems. You’ll be a key player in our team, contributing to the development of high-performance, reliable, and secure solutions.

Responsibilities
Develop Advanced Payment Solutions: Design, code, and test robust payment systems using Java 17 and Volante.
Volante Mastery: Leverage your 5+ years of Volante experience to configure, customize, and integrate payment workflows.
Architect Scalable Systems: Build high-performance, scalable, and maintainable applications.
Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Code Optimization: Optimize and refactor existing code for improved performance and maintainability.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers.

Experience and qualification
Extensive Java 17 Expertise: Proven experience in developing enterprise-level Java applications.
Matric and Diploma/ Degree in the related Field
Volante Proficiency: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Volante payments infrastructure.
Strong Understanding of Payment Systems: Deep knowledge of payment processing, protocols, and standards.
Database Proficiency: Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
API Development: Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
Agile Development: Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
