We’re seeking an experienced Solar Efficiency Analyst is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing the performance of solar energy systems. This role involves using data analytics and technical expertise to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and ensure optimal energy production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong background in renewable energy technologies, and possesses analytical and problem-solving skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
Collect and analyse data from solar energy systems using monitoring tools and software.
Identify trends, inefficiencies, and anomalies in system performance.
System Optimization:
Propose and implement solutions to improve system efficiency and energy output.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address performance issues.
Technical Reporting:
Generate detailed reports on energy production, efficiency metrics, and system performance.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and clients.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate records of system performance data and technical documentation.
Utilize databases and software to streamline data analysis processes.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure solar systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
Stay updated on advancements in solar technology and efficiency best practices.
Client Support:
Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding system performance and upgrades.
Address client inquiries and concerns related to energy efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:
Engineering Diploma/Degree.
Between 2 to 5 years’ experience in O&M and/or renewable energy sector.
Fluent in English.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Knowledge of SCADA design and systems integration.
Package & Remuneration:
Contract: 12 Months
Salary: R50 000.00
Location: Sandton
