Seeking a qualified and experienced New Products Manager for our client in the banking sector. Based in Rosebank, Johannesburg.

This is a 5 month contract.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for Financial and Product control to the Front Office.
Prepares returns and ensures reconciliation of payments, market risk and profit and loss and is responsible for substantiation on the balance sheet.
Ensures that risk management processes are adequately represented in the general ledger through the effective application of hedge accounting principles as laid out by IFRS.
Identifies internal control weaknesses and implements corrective procedures.
Manages the daily and monthly reporting of the bank’s liquid asset requirements in terms of Basel III and prudential requirements

Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Completed BCom finance degree
Post graduate Risk, compliance and Governance qualification
Min 4 years experience in a similar role
