Our client is looking to employ an experienced Spray Painter to be responsible for the preparation, masking, de-masking, primer and top coat painting of products brought into the workshop for repair, service and new assembly of company products.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Paint equipment to customer and company specifications
Quality control – in-process inspections (paint thickness, crosscut testing etc.)
Strip, clean repair, and pack
Manage the paint booth, drying oven and related workshop equipment at a TPM level
Customer service
Administration i.e. complete job cards, inspection protocols, reports etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Painting trade with necessary proof documents – 5 years post experience
5 years’ experience in either painting workshop or paint plant spray painting process
Involved in complex painting systems of high tolerance concerning thicknesses and consistency diagnostics, maintenance, and certification
Practical knowledge and understanding of at least one of the following areas:
Air spray painting
Airless spray painting
Rotary atomizing
Electrostatic spraying
Paint plant maintenance and care
