Job Description
Oversee machine moves and Installations of new equipment and machines.
Manage breakdown assistance to ensure maximum plant uptime in the Assembly, SMT, and Logistics departments.
Tracks, analyzes, and improves key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost & and compliance schedule.
Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times and do regular checks to ensure the safety procedures are being adhered to.
Control and maintain critical spares and stock levels to maintain machine uptime.
Effectively schedule master maintenance plan and execution.
Planning of plant shutdown.
Perform Root Cause Analysis.
Develops, controls, and updates measurables for the site.
Maintain work order data.
Ensure all equipment is serviced as per OEM specifications and schedules.
Manage sub-contractors on site.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years experience as a supervisor or artisan in a plant maintenance department.
Asset Management experience.
Preventative Maintenance Experience.
Certificate of Compliance.
Qualifications:
NQF level 6 (Electrical) preferably Millwright.
Trade Test
GMR 2.1 Certification
