Create test cases, test data and perform all appropriate testing (unit testing, end-to-end testing, stress testing, regression testing)
Create test environment and data where required by project, including demonstration of requirements traceability to verify the requirements as specified in the Requirements Document have been satisfied.
Coordination of User acceptance and assurance testing (e.g., gain user involvement, establish and define acceptance criteria, setting high-level test objectives, establish high level test scenarios, etc.)
Review testing results for compliance with policies, procedures, plans, and test criteria and metrics (e.g. defect rates, progress against schedule, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications
Appropriate Degree or Equivalent in Computer Science, or Information Technology, or Informatics, or Engineering, or Information Systems, or Commerce or other relevant qualification at NQF7

Minimum Certificate
Certification in Software QA Testing.

Minimum Experience
6+ years in ICT industry
4+ years in Software QA Testing
3+ years in integration testing, using relevant tools (e.g. SoapUI, LoadUI)
3+ years in testing methodologies and standards
3+ years in automated test tools
3+ years in Quality Standards and Procedures

Advanced Test Analyst ISTQB Certification will be an advantage
