Red Seal qualified Toolroom Foreperson located in Blackheath, Cape Town with 5+ years’ supervisory experience to take responsibility for overseeing daily operations, managing inventory and supplies, coordinating with maintenance teams, supervising staff, and ensuring the efficient operation of the toolroom.

Responsibilities:
• Manufacture & maintain production tooling
• Regular quality checks
• Supervise department and meetings

Requirements:
• Matric / Grade 12
• Red Seal: Toolmaker / Jig and Dye maker (non-negotiable)
• 5+ years’ supervisory experience
• Able to read and design from drawings
• Knowledge and experience with milling machines, lathes, hand tools
• Knowledge of various materials used in the manufacture process
• Knowledge and experience with ISO and H & S
• Sound planning, organising, leading and controlling skills
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Good attendance records
• Able to work over-time from time-to-time
• Able to work night shift
