WAREHOUSE MANAGER (RAIL & LOCOMOTIVE INDUSTRY)

ROSSLYN, PRETORIA, GAUTENG PROVINCE

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric
• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field (ESSENTIAL)
• Relevant certifications : Forklift Operator Certification & OHS Certification
• Certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies (ADVANTAGEOUS)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse management, preferably in the rail or locomotive industry (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience working in the rail or locomotive industry (ADVANTAGEOUS)
• ?Proficient on MS Office programmes (ESSENTIAL)
• Proficient on Sage Pastel & MS Projects (ESSENTIAL)
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, warehouse operations and logistics
• Duties: Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, Team Management, Safety and Security, Compliance, Reporting and Analytics, Continuous Improvement, Supplier Management & Budgeting and Cost Control
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans (written & verbal)
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team of warehouse staff
• ?Strong managerial capabilities coupled with resolution & analytical skills
• Valid Driver’s Licence (no endorsements)
• Own reliable vehicle (ESSENTIAL)
• Position is based in Rosslyn, Pretoria, Gauteng Province
• Candidates from other provinces will be considered if willing to relocate at their own cost
