"Hello, what is your name called?", four year old me greeted the postman before asking him if he liked his job. As an adult my grammar has improved but I retain my interest in people and what they do. I have also developed a fascination with technology and how people interact with it. Degrees in computer science, electrical engineering and an MBA supplemented my natural curiosity and laid a foundation for a successful career in information technology. In the meantime, I helped my passion project, AfrikaBurn (a not-for-profit), to grow its revenue by more than 5000% to just under R20,000,000 per annum, and was elected as the first chairman of the board. As I moved through my career, I have found that my interest in people coupled with clear communication and my skills in research, planning and execution makes me an effective leader. I have successfully lead teams of up to forty people, coordinating multiple interlocking projects and sub-teams, both co-located and remote. I look forward to learning about your ideas and discussing how I can help you to take them from concept to reality. Please visit http://www.******.*** for a detailed resume.
