Dear recruitment director, allow me to introduce myself… I am Ahmed F. Ali, and entrepreneur and Business Advisor, my first degree from Egypt and my latest degree in Sweden at Uppsala University/Sweden. I live currently between Uppsala and Stockholm. I have previous leadership and managerial experience both at the university where I led the business development, communication, and marketing unit of the most prestigious student nation and after graduation where I initiated start-ups and participated with my team in more than one entrepreneurship contest. Before moving to Sweden, I was also appointed for a managerial position as a medical director and deputy branch manager of a medical services firm. This experience is now supported by a concrete knowledge as recently, I obtained a master degree in Entrepreneurship at Uppsala University in an exceptional and very rich theoretical and practical course (Kindly check the CV and courses). My master thesis topic was dedicated to studying the innovation showcase of the Fortune 500 companies. I worked as a volunteer innovation consultant with Region Uppsala Health Innovation Unit to improve the recruitment and registration process of medical staff through a new online platform that is expected to make a big difference in the near future and serve the 2030-Agenda for sustainable health care system. On the other hand, I’m working also on a new Start-Up project within the food making and delivery service and is being prepared to be incubated by UIC soon. Networking also comes as a natural instinct. I am able to build an excellent network of contacts in a short time and I actually have a good network of contacts in many innovations supporting bodies in Sweden and Internationally like Vinnova, UU innovation, Almi, UIC Innovation, Base 10, Drivhuset, EIT health as well as other governmental bodies like Uppsala Kommun, Region Uppsala, Nära Vård och Hälsa and others. E-Medicine, HealthCare Innovation, Green Energy and Sustainability, Digitalizing Services and Logistics, those sectors are at the center of my interest. But certainly not all. I have a very good sensitivity to innovation atmospheres and trends, I have participated in many innovation events, workshops, and conferences that enriched this sensitivity and understanding. I’m mentored by Kristofer Klerfalk, one of the finest Swedish entrepreneurs who founded Base 10 (the leading entrepreneurship hub and CoCreation workspace in Uppsala) and also the founder and CEO of CoCrearion Health Group and the Board Member of Connect Sverige, as well as Prof. Ivo Zander, the Entrepreneurship Master Course Coordinator and my first instructor in this career path who can recommend me to this position.
