I love civil engineering. I have grown up in this business as my family had a construction company, which is past from my father to me. Indeed, having an experience of five years as a manager, I have learnt to adapt to different conditions of market and gain knowledge in civil engineering field. Managing a firm and going to university in the meantime was a tough challenge, but I am a hard working person. I have managed to do great in both, as I finished my Master’s degree with a GPA of 3.72 while making 5000000 ALL with my company. I have also managed to be a fitness professional for nine years, though now it is my first month that I don’t work out. It was because I wanted to learn for the GRE. Since it was tough and we had such a little time, I didn’t want to have any regrets so I had no other options but to stop working out. Yes, the first month that I don’t work out in nine years. I guess that shows how bad I want this scholarship. Another important asset of my persona is strategizing. I plan my life in every step of it. My skills at strategizing have been used in managing my company, when traveling on a low budget, sticking to my nutrition, being successful at school etc. But all that wasn’t enough. Honestly, I thought that I needed to have more connections and to expand my knowledge in order for my company to be more successful. As soon as I graduated as a Structural Engineer, I started working with another construction company where I learnt what team work is. During this time, I have improved my professional skills, as our company has another office in Rome with 20 years of experience there and we cooperate together. Afterwards I got a job in public administration and I decided to work there and kept my position at Proges too. So I am currently doing two jobs. It still wasn’t enough. That was the moment when I started volunteering with two big projects The Youth Centre in Tirana and Build Albania, in cooperation with the government of Albania and the Secretariat of the International Socialist Party and Socialist. The second one is still in progress and now the Socialist and Democratic Parliamentary Group of Europe have agreed to expand this project in all the European area and we are going to supervise it. Everyone with an innovative idea, has now an opportunity to make it real.
