I am a self taught draughtsman with a background in metallurgy and IT. I have been working for a manufacturing company for the past 3 years as a draughtsman and technical consultant. The company focuses on tooling for many industries such as the automotive, grating, mining and metal working industries. Aside from designing the tools, I assist with material selection, as well as tolerancing, and coating selections according to the process that the tool is used in, to ensure a high performance and long lasting tool is made.
