Alisha Bhagowat completed a B Sc. in Actuarial Science in 2010 at the University of KwaZulu Natal. After which, she worked in Seoul, South Korea as an English Instructor through the international leadership training and education institute, Berlitz for the period of one year. Alisha went on to join Accenture in 2013 as a Cross Functional Analyst within the South African Management Consulting and Strategy Practice. During her two and a half years as an Analyst, she focused on solving her clients’ most pressing challenges at the intersection of business and technology. She worked with C-level executives to shape and execute their transformation agendas, focusing on issues related to growth and innovation, industry convergence, geographic expansion and enterprise transformation. In July 2015, Alisha was selected by Managing Directors to join a sales team launched within the Resource Practice of Accenture. The role requires her to contribute to profitable sales growth as a core member of an opportunity deal team in the form of a deal shaper, price evaluator and internal bid coordinator. After demonstrating leadership traits and her capabilities Alisha was promoted to Consultant in November 2015. At the start of 2017, she moved to a performance online marketing company Digilytic International FZE as the COO, spearheading all internal functions, optimising advertising campaigns, lead generation and consumer experience. As the company evolved toward Market Making in the Crypto Asset Industry, she was crucial in the creation of the vision and company transformation. As the Key Client Manager she was an integral contributor to her clients’ project strategy, roadmaps, awareness, branding, capital raising/ management and liquidity provisioning. After resigning at the start of 2020, Alisha has chosen to explore a different career path within the NGO/ Foundation/ Social Enterprise space following her passion and commitment to support the plight and struggles of our world and its people.
