I have 29 years of Industrial experience. I have climbed the ladder to my current position by constantly delivering outstanding results. I have a strong maintenance background in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and control. I am well versed with Casting machines, Conveyors, rolling mills, Tension Levellers, Crushers, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Cranes, Feeders, Mills, Overhead conveyors, Furnaces, Shot Blasters, Screening equipment, automated systems, Cooling towers, Fuel systems, dust collections systems and Fume Treatment systems. I have led across Anode plants, Casthouse, Rolling Mills and Utilities. This knowledge allows me to fit into virtually any industry very easily. I have a strong background in Maintenance Planning, having built complete maintenance strategies for over 500 different equipment. I have extensive experience in leading FMECA, RCM, and Reverse RCM methodologies towards obtaining effective maintenance plans. I have been responsible for coaching and mentoring of planners to set up major shutdown schedules involving internal and external resourcing, internal and external material purchases, hiring and effective utilisation of internal equipment and machinery. I have also been heavily involved in localizing of many materials thus resulting in saving of hundreds of thousands of dollars. I am responsible for the Reliability team to deliver proper Pareto analysis to create effective plans to ensure low breakdowns and high equipment uptime. This involves RCA with all stake holders involved. I am also currently involved in Alarm Management as an initiative to increase equipment OEE. I have been instrumental in designing and implementing the rotable management system. I have also been heavily involved in MRP developing and controlling. I have been extensively involved with OEM from around the world and am well networked. This assists immensely to find solutions competitively. This relationship also ensures priority treatment to queries issued. Being deeply involved with these companies also gives me the luxury of getting information of the latest technology and changes in the environment. To be continuously improving and competitive in this global environment, having this network is vitally important. I am extensively driven to meet the targeted KPIs. I believe todays benchmark is tomorrow’s target. I set high targets so failure is not an option. To me success is measured not only by meeting customer expectation but ensuring that controls are put in place for areas of improvement and success are replicated.
