I am a final year English Literature and Anthropology university student at the University of Cape Town. I have a love for poetry, books, movies and all forms of human art and thus have participated competitions and societies throughout my university career. I am also versatile as I have worked in industries across a broad spectrum such as private and university tuition , the waitressing and restaurant, the hostess industry and have also engaged in volunteering work at the Salvation Army and the Life Choices Salesian’s Job Shadowing Program that has given me experience in administration and computer literacy skills. I have a strong ability to work independently and am self-disciplined to a fault. However, my experience anthropology and ethnographical research has taught me not only to have experience with a wide spectrum of human personalities, views and ideologies but has also given me the ability communicate and work well in group situations. I have a talent for communicating with people and work well with people across all ages and because of this I have also been positions of authority and leadership such as peer mentoring programs with the Salesian’s Life Choices Leader’s Quest . I am willing to work versatile hours and clime my way up to the ladder of success.
