I have been in the digital marketing industry since 2014 and have worked primarily on the agency side with my focus being on ad operations/implementation and media planning. I enjoy developing and contributing to strategies and most importantly, looking at data analytics to drive insights and improve on future campaigns. Through my work experience in the industry, I have cultivated a high attention to detail, good relationship management, time-management and financial management skills. Digital Marketing has grown substantially over the past couple of years, yet there is still a lack of understanding around the more technical aspects to it. I am able to communicate and effectively explain these technical aspects in layman terms, whether it be to clients or fellow colleagues. I am committed to changing global and local perspectives of the African continent and aim to make a positive social impact in society through my work. I enjoy contributing to the discussions around technology, current affairs, society and feminism. Reading, painting, writing and spending time outdoors surrounded by nature are some of the activities I find relaxing.
