I have been mainly involved in water infrastructure which includes sewer and storm water. I started in a construction company, installing DN600/500 bulk steel pipe which included fittings. My main responsibility was managing subcontractors’ work and certificates claims, which grew my leadership and managerial skills. I than got a position in a consulting firm, which mainly deals with water infrastructure projects. I started of as a drafts person and assisting with the design wherever I can, after few months I was a lead design engineer for a rising main projects, where I was responsible for; hydraulic modelling, drafting, the project specifications and the BOQ estimates. I am quite a dedicated individual and I always ask questions for better performance.
