As a Computer Science graduate (Honours), I would like to work in an IT industry where my skills are directly applicable. I would like to also get into any industry where I can contribute and harness my skills. I am ready to work with existing staff using my erudite skills and experience to add value to your industry. My passion is to help the industry take advantage of latest technology and information equipment to get work done faster, make profit and reducing loss/cost. To buttress my strength in excellent service delivery that I lay claims to, I was assigned as an interns for three months were I helped to populate a company’s Transaction Database on their new Intranet, this involved pulling the data from eFront (a transaction workflow system), verifying the data against an extract from Microsoft SharePoint, cleaning up any data inconsistencies and then loading and tagging the correct data and documents into a new SharePoint database). At the end of the duration, I was able to finish the tasks giving to me and helped with few other tasks. I have also been held an Assistant Lecturing position at the University of Pretoria were my job was to lecture C++ programming, setting up and conducting C++ programming for students. I did not fail to report to my Senior Lecturer about the on-going process with the students. I enjoyed working with other competent Information Technology (IT) staff seeing that computer users across the University of Pretoria supports services delivery to the student which in turn reduced their various challenges that they may have had. Presently, I am an IT technician at Digit-IT and National Tender Services located in Pietermaritzburg, my core duties are Graphic Design, Animations, IT Support, Repair, Networking, Installation, Sales and general IT Services, General Administration, Back End Administration and Tender Services. I have completed more than five projects since my date of resumption at Digit-IT. No doubt, I would be a great team player to your industry if given the opportunity.
