To whom this may concern My name is Ayanda Londiwe Nzimande. I am a proud, black, South African women, born into the Zulu culture in Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal. I come from a middle-class family and a had my fair share of a wholesome childhood growing up with the expected unescapable obstacles of course. After having proudly completed my matric with colours to my name and a statement of no less then a B score, I kindly set my sights to the University of Pretoria, where I intended to pursue my career path. I have always been a hard worker and I believe that my engagement in sport and other extra-mural activities boosted that aspect of my being. If I had to sum up the lessons, I learnt during my school years into 5 words I was use: consideration, determination, self-control, commitment and focus. Since I’ve been in varsity, I have learnt many futile, life-saving lessons. One that I value the most is that of intention. To live with intention has been a long-life goal of mine because I believe that characteristic provides one with purpose and the chance to live a fulfilling life. I believe that in life we as humans must forever keep learning and evolving ourselves to being the best versions we can be. I love learning new skills and challenging myself to execute them to the best of my ability. I am a good team player and I live my life in an open-minded way of thinking which further well equipts me in problem solving. I am fluent in English and Zulu and I have good communication skills. At the University of Pretoria, I am currently an unemployed graduate with a Bachelor's in the degree BTown and Regional Planning. I have found that my skills shine most within spatial planning and graphic design for presentations. I enjoy urban and regional planning because it allows me the opportunity to do analytical work and the creatively construct a plan that is relevant and sustainable. I have found myself to enjoy opportunities that allow me to be creative and helpful to others, the most rewarding. I would love for my career path to allow me to do so, by any means. I believe I would be a great addition to your company because not only will I be the hardest working employee, but I will also do my best to help elevate the company to the next level. I hope you can make a wise decision and allow me the opportunity to prove myself and make you proud.
