Communications manager and journalist with extensive experience working in local and international media and the non-profit sector within multi-disciplinary teams. Skilled in communication strategy, project management, design thinking, copy writing/editing, and documentary production. A strong media and communication professional with two honours degrees, the first from the University of Johannesburg in Journalism and Philosophy and the second in Brand Leadership from VEGA: School of Brand Leadership. Now pursuing a career more aligned to design thinking having recently completed the Interaction Design Foundation’s UX design course. Currently completing the HarvardX CS50 Introduction to Computer Science professional certificate, to better understand the technical aspect of digital design.
