I have been employed in South African Police Service (SAPS) since1994 thus giving me 24 full years’ experience and I have been in management since 2004, with the highest ranking being that of a Captain which is at Management level. My duties include but not limited to coordinate the planning and develop the operational activities according to the crime analysis, advising managers and Police officers with regards to carrying out preliminary investigations in order to advise relevant Head of visible Policing and station Commander in the event of any incident, which occurred on the Station Precinct. Manage all physical and human resourced of the Unit. Managing the deployment of Police Officers under my command, draft and evaluate reports of Head of visible Policing and the Station Commander. Directs and control the key performance and outcomes of personnel within my team. Motivate members, holding meetings to explain all the policies and instruction. Conduct the performance management of all members reporting under my command, conduct inspections on all official registers SAP 13, SAPS 43SAP 136, DV508, SAP55 etc. ensure that all procedures are followed in terms of fire arms exhibits and other exhibits, ensure that all case dockets are processed as per the instructions, always ensure that members adhere to legislation, National Instructions and all other laws governing Policing. In addition to my experience I have a solid educational foundation a Diploma Certificate in Policing( TECHNIKON SA- 1995),National Diploma in Policing(November 2003, University of South Africa), a B-Tech Degree in Policing (November 2014, University of South Africa) and I am currently doing my M TECH in Policing. I furthermore have a PSIRA GRADE B CERTIFICATE( KGN Security Training) , GRADE B/A SECURITY OFFICERS COURSE(KGN Security Training) . END USER COMPUTING CERTIFICATE(Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology).
