I am a senior mechanical engineer with 15 years’ engineering experience (3 years senior managerial), mainly in the process plant design, construction and operation, as well as technology research environment. I have received numerous awards for innovation and process improvement throughout my career. I thrive on assuming leadership, taking responsibility, working under pressure and being accountable, and I believe that this has been key to my success thus far. An example of this is my development of an innovative secondary separation system for Klydon. I am results driven, decisive and able to make tough decisions but open to other people’s opinions and suggestions. I believe that people are the most important distinguishing factor of successful businesses and I am therefore strongly focused on people. I have strong interpersonal skills, can easily identify with any person and have come to realize that I am an excellent motivator of people. I lead through the principles of values-driven leadership and embrace an inspirational leadership style. I am a strategic thinker with business acumen and able to lead and manage in a holistic way. I have strong technical capabilities, and believe in progress through innovation at technical and business level.
