In my previous career, I had the job title of Customs Supervisor, where I handled all the admin and freight orders for the company. This involved liaising with freight suppliers, shipping companies, Import and Export companies, as well as the airfreight offices. It also involved running the admin office and supervising three other colleagues of mine. The programs that we worked on were Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and our clearing program. I also had my section of export documents to process, as well as other import documentation, and send electronically to SARS, and suppliers. I also assisted head office with queries, as well as management.
