I perform Engineering of telecommunications networks for Telkom SA / Openserve by sub-contracting to : Huawei Technologies , Nokia Alcatel , SAAB Grintek Technologies , National Engineering Solutions , National Cabling Systems , F&B Kim Services , Mvelaphande. I am a Transmission and Switching Engineering Specialist. I am well versed in all aspects required for a successful project : Site Surveying , BOQ , Capturing of the new elements on required customer databases (Logical and Physical Inventory) , Ordering of materials and costing , compiling detailed installation documentation (Scope Of Work) , Ensuring data integrity on customer databases is maintained throughout. Some of my most recent planning pieces were for FTTH systems installed in gated communities (Customer Premises Equipment) and Metro Ethernet (MPLS) systems working on Microwave Links as backhaul.
