I have 9 years journalistic experience. I have written for television, print and online. I am also a translator for Xitsonga content. I started my career as an intern for Daily Sun before moving to be a junior researcher for the television programme, Carte Blanche in 2012. I later became a journalist for three years for Beeld from 2014. There I covered a variety of beats including courts and the legislature. I joined Lowvelder in Mbombela were my primary beat was the legislature and municipality. I covered current Deputy President, then Premier of the Province, David Mabuza's presidential race extensively. I later moved and joined Business Insider South Africa's flagship team. My duties included writing content for the site as well as managing the and growing its newsletter. I am comfortable to write in English, Afrikaans as well as my home language, Xitsonga.
