I have worked in office support for over 10 years with experience in supervisory, event coordination and project/programme coordination. I have set my foot in entrepreneurial field between 2018 -2021 as a source of income and also for the love of events, focusing mainly on events and social media officer. Projects I engaged in amongst a few were Bathathu Risk (based in Randburg) working as a Social Media Officer, other projects are Jozi Tese -Bet 129 annual festival as an Event coordinator and also working with Moonlight Blue Lounge as the events and social media coordinator. I currently work on a consultancy basis for Moonlight Blue Lounge as an events coordinator. My previous corporate position was with International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group. The last position I occupied was Communications Program Assistant for the CAF region. My responsibilities included social media monitoring, administrative assistant to the head of Communications for Africa having also been an Assistant to the CAF Manufacturing, Services &Agribusiness Director and CAF Head of Portfolio and team of 12 Officers, being an interlink within the CAF Region, liaising with the media and suppliers, events coordinating, supervising office assistants. In this role I performed and excelled in handling multiple tasks and satisfying demands from diverse groups. My strengths lie in analytical reporting, leadership, organizing, and superior clerical aptitude, and well-developed communication skills. I acquired my skills through hands-on trainings, other roles including seeing to it that deadlines for statutory/legislative reporting are adhered to, according to occupational health requirements in the offices. I have also previously worked as a Project Administrator for CARE SA-LESOTHO, which is one of the world’s leading humanitarian organizations funded by CDC, USAID and PEPFAR. In this role, I directly reported to the LETSEMA/IHAPC projects Project Manager. My duties entailed supervising the 3 provincial administrators, and supporting the project team nationally. My main duties being budget reporting and monitoring, project forecast planning, coordinating trainings and conferences, checking for compliance and course unit standards with the HWSETA, compiling M&E and training reports and procurement of project assets. Having worked with diverse teams I have demonstrated abilities to respect diverse cultures, to coordinate activities, to solve problems, and work without supervision. My achievements include being awarded Performance awards 2 consecutive years and 4 quarterly-Spot awards with IFC. I have also been hailed for having brought order to the department and sustaining that; taking duties that no one else takes, using my initiative to successfully resolve all queries that are sent to the department through me, providing constant communication about developments in the unit and organization. As a person I am flexible and learn fast. I specialize in setting up and maintaining efficient admin systems.
