Hi there, I'm Caitlin a user experience and user interface designer. I currently hold a role at a top software consulting company in UX & UI design, where I have handled a variety of UX tasks for different projects and industries. My background has developed a high level of design thinking and problem solving here is a summary: I have a bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand and completed my one year at an architectural firm. (2020) Since then I shifted careers, gaining a certificate in User Experience Design. I joined ArchDaily as a part-time contributing editor, from which I gained recognition as one of the best in the team. ArchDaily is the world's most visited architecture website with over 3.5 million followers on Instagram). I was in this role for almost 3 years. During that time I worked for a FoodTech start-up where I assisted with UX design & research, UI design, social media management and content strategy, mailing designs, growth operations, training, and presentations to stakeholders and investors. I also chose to learn more code to understand its structure, as well as mathematical modelling where I am looking more into data modeling specifically from the UX research and the ways data can be interpreted. I have freelanced in graphic design and product photography helping a company extensively with their Wordpress e-commerce website. My diverse experience positions me with a unique set of skills including: - Design thinking - developed throughout studies and working - Holistic problem solving - understanding business, design, and copy - Wireframing, prototyping, research strategies
